Just do the right thing for America

My thought for today is simple. Politicians: stop the rhetoric and just do what's right.

Now, we need to take into account every view and every aspect before trudging into the fray, but seriously -- can you get it right this time?

I'm afraid that while we have such fundamental philisophical difference in government, most especially in Congress, we will never be able to move forward in a positive and responsible way.

On the health care bill -- this isn't really a health care bill. It's more of an insurance reform bill. We do need to rein them in a bit, but I don't know... First, let's keep a government run plan out of the mix. We already know what happens when the government tries to run something like corporate business does - waste.

Well, there's a lot going on - keep praying for our leaders.
